It was a vintage aficionado’s dream come true… Swift Vintage Boutique had its Grand Re-Opening shopping event along with a small sidewalk fashion show. The store had also recently expanded where the Sewing Lounge used to be and added a shoe store in place of the old location. The night of the opening, prices were slashed to 20% off vintage clothing and 50% off shoes and yummy little munchies were available and as well as a DJ that spun tunes while people shopped. For the fashion show, Swift owner Carrie Diaz chose twelve looks, influenced by 1940’s France with a hint of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean.” “Swift captures the beauty and quality from the past by accentuating modern looks with vintage charm at affordable prices.” Diaz and her team are also happy to assist in styling outfits for clients as well as alterations. They also offer sewing classes. Please call them for more information.
SWIFT is located at 3212 West Magnolia Blvd in Burbank. Phone (818) 558-1289. The website is www.swiftvintage.blogspot.com.
