Gleam by Melanie Mills Launch Party
All you Dancing with the Stars fans ever wonder why the stars have such glowy, golden skin? The answer to that is that they use Gleam by Emmy Award winning make-up artist-Melanie Mills. Gleam acts as a foundation for your skin and helps hide flaws and gives the skin a shiny and smooth look and feel, thanks to the Jojoba oil, Vitamin E,aloe and other natural moisturizers. She has been using Gleam on DWTS for three years and has been known to revolutionize the body for TV. I attended her official launch party (it officially launched May 1st)at a new boutique hotel, The Redbury in Hollywood. There was mingling, models, light appetizers were passed; as well as a Cha Cha and Rumba performance by Rumen Atanasov and Jeanette Hamming . They offered a “Gleam Bar”, where guests could get ‘gleamed’ according to a shade that best fits their skin color. I received the Gleam treatment with the Rose Gold lotion (which is Melanie’s signature color and personal fave!) I was told that the make-up is non-transferable, BUT isn’t water-proof and to use common sense when putting on clothing. Gleam goes for $40 for a 3.5oz bottle and $15 for a 1oz travel bottle and is sold in boutiques and salons, as well as the website.
