(Sponsored) Mixing Prints with Yoana Baraschi

Huge thanks for the ladies over at Yoana Baraschi for allowing me to pick out this adorable Balinese Paisley Pencil Skirt in sunshine (the sunshine is sold out) from their Summer/Pre-Fall 2012 collection. Fortunately, the skirt arrived in perfect time, because I needed an outfit for a blogger event in Houston. Knowing me, I didn’t want to pair this skirt with anything ordinary. I chose a vintage and thrifted black and white polka-dot top, black heels and a wide black belt. I wanted minimal accessories, so I opted for a vintage black hat, red vintage clutch and a statement bow necklace that I made. I thought that black and small hints of red and blue complemented the skirt, without clashing or being too overpowering. The skirt itself is just lovely and fit exceptionally well. The crepe de chine is somewhat sheer, so I made sure to wear a nude, seamless panty to prevent any wardrobe disaster. I’m excited to put more wear into this skirt and just be creative in dressing out of the norm. Yoana Baraschi is and forever will be known in my book as timeless and classic.
