Feeling a Little Red…and Blue

Last Sunday, my fellow blogger gal-pal Shalanda and I had some time in between dance class and a blogger brunch at Tout Suite, so we went back over to the Sugar and Cloth Color Wall to take more photos. I wore my vintage red pleated maxi skirt I got from the ‘Vintage Vault Night’ at The Cottage Shop and paired it with a simple tee and my vintage statement choker I had purchased from my friend’s shop- Deja Vu Resale, now in Upland, CA. Since I forgot my original white tee at home, I had to make a Target run and purchased the Merona Women’s Ultimate Scoop Tee to wear. It’s super-soft and has a nice fit.
I thought that the blue portion of the Sugar and Cloth Color Wall contrasted nicely with the pop of red!
This look is so vintage/bohemian twist on classic Americana and I love it!

I love that maxi skirt!!! I have yet to find a great red maxi skirt. So I will now be on the hunt to find one again.
