The Mr and I recently traveled up to Monument Valley. We met with our officiant, and also stayed in a traditional Navajo Hogan. Ever since I started traveling throughout this region, I’ve always been¬†inspired by the vast landscape, and the culture of the Navajo people.

Cloudy skies and cooler temperatures put somewhat of a damper on the trip, however, it wasn’t hard to take in the beauty of the mesas, buttes and Mittens. I LIVE for styling “themed” outfits that go along with events, or in this case, the environment to which I’m in. This trip- lots of color, and turquoise were clearly appropriate. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
