Houston Rising Fashion Show + Fundraiser

The folks at FGI Houston recently held a fashion show and fundraiser, which included all local Houston designers, at the Norris Conference Center in CityCentre. Proceeds from the event went to Houston Furniture Bank and HGI Counseling, who are still helping with Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. The evening was emceed by Casey Curry and Blanca Beltran. The showcase featured collections from up-and-coming, as well as established designers: Jamel Hawk, 86and90, Of Myth & Muse, Claire Drennan Knitwear, Steve Guthrie, Renegade Bridal, VCherie, Miles David, and Chloe Dao. Also featured, were local boutiques- Melodrama Boutique, MODchic Online, and Myth & Symbol. After the runway show, comedian Rob Mungle took the stage. Guests were also able to participate in a silent auction, with items donated by various sponsors.
