Darylynn Eyewear and The Ziegfeld Club Form Unique Partnership

Darylynn Ayala-Macaluso- the founder of Darylynn Eyewear, recently formed a unique partnership with New York’s The Ziegfeld Club Inc. She created three aviator-style frames (also reminiscent of the Ziegfeld era) and named the frame, “Nanon,” in honor of Nanon Gardner Sanderson- a Ziegfeld dancer and the grandmother of Laurie Sanderson- The Ziegfeld Club’s executive director.

“It’s a personal dream come true- to be able to be a part of, and give a creative contribution to The Ziegfeld Club. Florenz Ziegfeld has been a huge inspiration to me. He empowered women in a time when it was unheard of; and his wife- Billie Burke (who played The Good Witch on Wizard of Oz), created this club to continue their mission of inspiring women,” Darylynn explained.

Last Sunday, my fellow blogger gal-pal Shalanda and I had some time in between dance class and a blogger brunch at Tout Suite, so we went back over to the Sugar and Cloth Color Wall to take more photos. I wore my vintage red pleated maxi skirt I got from the ‘Vintage Vault Night’ at The Cottage Shop and paired it with a simple tee and my vintage statement choker I had purchased from my friend’s shop- Deja Vu Resale, now in Upland, CA. Since I forgot my original white tee at home, I had to make a Target run and purchased the Merona Women’s Ultimate Scoop Tee to wear. It’s super-soft and has a nice fit.

I thought that the blue portion of the Sugar and Cloth Color Wall contrasted nicely with the pop of red!
